Welcome to my personal website.
Welcome to my digital space! I'm Pradyumna Ayyalasomayajula, an engineer at heart with a deep passion for solving complex problems through innovative technology. With a Ph.D. in Signal Processing from EPFL, Switzerland, and over a decade of experience across cutting-edge fields like embedded systems, energy solutions, and microengineering, I thrive at the intersection of research and real-world applications.
Currently leading R&D teams at Landis+Gyr, I take pride in pushing the boundaries of industrial and grid technologies, having designed some of the world’s most accurate commercial meters. My work extends to building Europe’s largest Virtual Power Plant, developing novel algorithms, and orchestrating international teams to deliver impactful solutions. Every challenge I encounter fuels my desire to advance the field and contribute to a sustainable future.
Beyond my professional journey, I am dedicated to mentoring the next generation of engineers, driven by the belief that education and innovation are powerful forces for change.
Let’s connect and explore the future of engineering together!
EPFL, 2013
Invented new image recognition algorithms which can run on resource constraint devices. The main application was in the field of Alternative and Augumentative Communication (AAC) to aid speech impared people.
University of Neuchatel, 2008
I focused primarily on Analog and digital system design, MEMS, and Signal Processing.
Visvesvaraya Technological University, 2006
I topped the University (secured 4th rank out of a pool of more than 25,000 students)
